Alyia has been thriving during her work experience at Eric & Company Salon in Moneta, VA. On her fifth day, she showcased her impressive skills by braiding the hair of Jamie, one of the stylists. It’s clear that Alyia has a natural talent and passion for this type of work, making this experience incredibly meaningful for her career aspirations.
When asked how she’s liking the work experience, Alyia shared, “I am glad to have this opportunity. I have learned a lot.” Her enthusiasm and eagerness to grow have been evident in her dedication and progress.
Previously, Alyia participated in a work experience at a therapeutic riding program. While that was a valuable opportunity, her current placement aligns much more closely with her interests and goals. The team at Eric & Company Salon has been welcoming and supportive, creating an environment where Alyia can learn and grow. In just a few days, she’s already gained valuable insights and hands-on experience in the field.
