Caitlyn Patton began working at Burger King in Norton March 2026, starting on the back line where she learned the fast-paced responsibilities of food preparation, teamwork, and maintaining efficiency behind the scenes. From the beginning, Caitlyn demonstrated a strong work ethic and willingness to learn, quickly adapting to the demands of the position.
Although she was successful in her original role, Caitlyn had a bigger goal in mind — she wanted the opportunity to work the front register and interact directly with customers. She shared this goal with her Employment Specialist, who encouraged and supported her as she worked to build the confidence needed to advocate for herself and communicate her interests with management.

With encouragement and preparation, Caitlyn spoke with her supervisor and manager about her desire to expand her skills and move into a customer-facing position. Her initiative and determination paid off, and management provided her with the opportunity to begin training on the front register. Caitlyn quickly adapted to her new responsibilities and has continued to thrive in the role. Her positive attitude, growing confidence, and excellent customer service skills have allowed her to shine while interacting with customers and coworkers alike.
Recently, Caitlyn’s hard work and dedication were recognized by Burger King Regional Supervisor Mark Cummins, who commended her for her outstanding customer service and strong performance on the job. This recognition reflects the tremendous growth, perseverance, and professionalism Caitlyn has demonstrated since beginning her employment journey.

Caitlyn’s story is a wonderful example of how determination, self-advocacy, communication, and supportive guidance can help students achieve their goals, build confidence, and continue growing both personally and professionally in the workplace.
