In celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), Project SEARCH hosted an inspiring event at their host site, Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA. The event highlighted the incredible progress and dedication of interns who are gaining valuable hands-on experience through the Project SEARCH program.
Representing RSVP, Inc. were Skills Trainer Heather Holsinger, Area Coordinator Joshua McDonough, and Project SEARCH Instructor Heather Prible with Stafford County Schools, alongside DARS Counselor Erin Hudgins. Together, this team continues to champion inclusion in the workplace and support individuals as they develop essential job skills, confidence, and independence.

The event served as a reminder of the impact collaboration has between Project SEARCH, local businesses, DARS, and community partners like RSVP, Inc. Each plays a vital role in promoting opportunities for individuals with disabilities to thrive in meaningful employment.
RSVP, Inc. is proud to partner with Project SEARCH, Mary Washington Hospital, Stafford County Schools, and the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) to continue building inclusive workplaces where everyone’s talents can shine.
