RSVP, Inc. was proud to participate in the 27th Annual Collaborations Conference, held December 8–10, 2025, at the Hilton Norfolk The Main in Norfolk, Virginia. The Collaborations Conference brings together rehabilitation professionals, educators, advocates, and community partners from across the Commonwealth to share best practices, strengthen partnerships, and enhance services that support meaningful employment and community inclusion for Virginians with disabilities.

This year, RSVP, Inc. sent leaders and Employment Specialists from multiple regions throughout the state, ensuring strong representation across Virginia. Staff participated in keynote presentations, focused breakout sessions, and statewide networking opportunities that supported continued growth, collaboration, and professional development.

We were also honored to have two members of our leadership team present at this year’s conference. Supervisor Anna Fierro led a powerful session titled “Striking Out Stigma in Mental Health,” focusing on awareness, compassion, and practical strategies for reducing stigma and supporting individuals in both workplace and community settings. Area Coordinator Deanna Carter presented “A Collaborative Approach to Supporting Students to Identify Career Paths Through Community Connections,” alongside representatives from DARS and The Choice Group. The session highlighted the importance of teamwork, creative partnerships, and early career exploration for student success.

RSVP, Inc. is grateful for the opportunity to attend and contribute to such an impactful statewide event. Our team returned inspired, informed, and motivated to apply new strategies and strengthened partnerships within the communities we serve. We look forward to continuing our mission to empower individuals across Virginia through meaningful employment and community-based support.
