🎓
On May 17, 2023, five exceptional individuals graduated from the Project SEARCH program in Fredericksburg, VA. In partnership with RSVP, Inc., Stafford County Public Schools, the Virginia Department for Aging & Rehabilitative Services (DARS), and Mary Washington Healthcare, this program empowers young adults with disabilities to pursue meaningful employment.
During their nine-month internship, these graduates attended daily classroom training and gained hands-on experience across the hospital system. They worked alongside mentors who taught them essential workplace skills.
We’re thrilled to share that all five graduates were offered jobs before their graduation day! Their hard work and dedication have truly paid off.
This success is a testament to the strength of the Project SEARCH program, originally developed at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 1996 by Erin Riehle.
We are immensely proud of our graduates and their accomplishments. To learn more about Project SEARCH and its incredible impact, please visit www.projectsearch.us.
