RSVP, Inc. was proud to sponsor and participate in the Inaugural Disability Expo held at the Weinstein JCC in Henrico on January 7, 2024. The event, organized by the Friendship Circle of Virginia in collaboration with JCC and Markel Inc., featured over 40 vendors serving the disability community. Hundreds of attendees walked through the Weinstein JCC to learn more about the disability community and explore resources and services available.
The expo emphasized the importance of creating an inclusive community by facilitating friendships and social opportunities for people with and without disabilities. RSVP, Inc. contributed to the success of the event, actively supporting the initiative to provide crucial information and resources for families navigating the complexities of disabilities.
With 1 in 4 people living with a disability, the expo served as a valuable platform covering various aspects, from mental health to accessible equipment. RSVP, Inc. remains committed to fostering connections and providing essential services for individuals with disabilities, reflecting our ongoing involvement in building a more inclusive and supportive community. The success of the Inaugural Disability Expo signals the beginning of a series of events aimed at making a positive impact on the lives of those in the disability community.
