RSVP, Inc. Remains Open During COVID-19 Pandemic

As our company responds to COVID-19, the health and safety of our employees, customers and clients remains our top priority. The work we do is critical and essential to hundreds of individuals, agencies and businesses throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia, and we are committed to being there when our customers, clients and colleagues need us most. RSVP, Inc. remains open for business with some minor modifications to daily operations and service delivery. Here are the ways in which we are responding:

Customers:
We assure you that RSVP, Inc. is taking the proper steps for both our employees and our shared clients to continue to deliver quality services while maintaining government recommendations for social distancing and frequent hand washing and hand sanitizing. To the greatest extent possible, RSVP, Inc. is completing casework telephonically, via email or text messaging, and via video conferencing (Zoom, FaceTime, Skype). Our Richmond office remains open during regular business hours (8:00am – 5:00pm) with a limited Administrative staff on site to provide support to field-based teleworkers, customers and clients.

Clients / Consumers:
RSVP, Inc. remains here to serve you during this difficult time. Staff are available by phone, text, email, or video conferencing to assist you. For consumers who are currently working, if onsite supports are needed, RSVP staff are available to support you in maintaining employment. We are also happy to assist with applying for unemployment benefits if you have been laid off or lost your job due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Students / School Programs:
Due to the Governor of Virginia’s order that schools be closed, RSVP, Inc. has ceased our Project SEARCH service and most of our Pre-ETS programs (STEP, C-SEP) at this time. If authorized by both DARS and school system administrators, RSVP, Inc. will offer virtual learning experiences to students. Applicable students have been notified of these options for online educational activities. Participation in the virtual learning experiences is optional.

Employees:
RSVP, Inc. employees who are in jobs that can be conducted from home should continue to work from home. Our Richmond office will remain open with limited staff working onsite to assist you as needed. Our office is taking preventative measures to help limit the spread of COVID-19, such as maintaining six (6) feet of separation between employees, conducting thrice daily sanitizing of doorknobs, common areas and office equipment, and encouraging hand washing / sanitizing and maintaining good personal hygiene amongst all staff.
