During a work-based learning experience tour, a group of Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) students embarked on a culinary adventure at ZZQ and Eazzy Burger. The journey was not only enriched by the culinary expertise of Alex, the owner, but also by the unwavering support and guidance of RSVP, Inc. Skills Trainers, Jay Rivers and Kristal Seaborn, who were instrumental in ensuring an inclusive and empowering experience for every student.
Alex, a beacon of passion, guided the students through the artistry of smoking meats, providing insights into the culinary world. Jay Rivers and Kristal Seaborn, attuned to the diverse needs of the students, facilitated an inclusive environment, ensuring that each student, regardless of their abilities, felt supported and engaged.
Throughout the tour, Alex shared her entrepreneurial journey, and the Skills Trainers played a vital role in ensuring that the information was accessible to every student. Alex and the Skills Trainers created an inclusive atmosphere where everyone felt encouraged to participate, ask questions, and absorb the wealth of knowledge being shared.
Eazzy Burger transformed into a dynamic learning space, were the students sampled housemade french fries and delved into the meticulous process of crafting the perfect burger. One student, in particular, was overjoyed, expressing his passion for burgers and aspirations for a future career in the food service industry.
The trainers, champions of inclusivity, played a pivotal role in making the tour accessible, educational, and empowering for every student. When asked about their experience, the enthusiastic student declared it was “so cool” and admitted to having an immediate craving for a burger.
